Overview
English continues to serve as a global common language and remains the lingua franca of the Internet, science and technology, and international trade. A significant proportion of STEM research publications, academic journals, and university programs are conducted in English. As a result, students’ ability to master STEM concepts is closely connected to their capacity to comprehend, communicate, and collaborate effectively in English. Strong English proficiency therefore plays a vital role in enabling students to access global knowledge, engage with emerging scientific and technological developments, and be a global citizen.

Participant Requirements and Criteria
- Participants must be active students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 (or equivalent levels in primary to senior high school) in the current academic year.
- The competition will be conducted in English. Therefore, participants are expected to have a basic understanding of English to comprehend and answer the questions properly.
- The registration fee is IDR 150,000 per student, which covers the participation cost and an e-certificate.
- Each participant is allowed to join only one subject category, based on their interest and competence.
- Students who achieve Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals in the National Round will be invited to join the Global Round
